Partly through my grief work, I’m managing to organize my life step by step. I now feel mentally prepared, present, and equipped enough to go through my old belongings—and to gently care for the heavier feelings as they come. Some items stay and others move on, and I want to approach each one with as much care as possible.

And in doing so, I found this pair of shoes—bought a pretty long time ago,

They still fit (🤡).

I might even have been a teenager back then.

Plus, they actually match my wardrobe’s neutral/cool color scheme. Perfect for those freezing, slippery days when wearing heels might be a bit too daring.

For very cold icy days
