Cookbooks*
*At the moment, cookbooks and recipes are the closest thing to the kind of inspiration I found in pop artists earlier in my life. Those artists inspired me to dance more, and that inspiration still lives on in me through the way dancing remains a valuable outlet for me.
Today, cookbooks and recipes inspire a different part of me. They invite me into a more intimate, sensory form of connection with myself through exploring, creating, learning, tasting, and enjoying food.
In that sense, cooking and dancing stand alongside each other: both connect me with different parts of myself and give me ways to express and experience who I am, each in their own way.
Over the past few years, Iâve bought three four cookbooks, including a three-volume French cookbook because Iâve discovered how much I enjoy French cuisine, and a cookbook dedicated to cookies(because of my sweet toothðŠ·).

Altogether, I already have more than 1,000 pages of possibilities waiting for me. With measuring tools and energy, I can gradually begin exploring this culinary world more deeply.
As I continue developing a healthy relationship with food, I want to expand my palate and discover a wider range of foods and meals to enjoy, creating more possibilities.
The cooking process gives me something to learn and create, while the result is physical: I can eat it, enjoy it, and maybe even feel soothed.
A tangible way to take care of myself by preparing something nourishing and enjoyable for myself.
My childhood idols continue to have their own special place. I can give my child mode space to experience those artists again in that joyful way, while my healthy adult mode discovers new sources of inspiration.
