βͺ️ MEMORY LANE βͺ️

In the quieter years of my father’s life, following his busy career, we spent more quality time together. After hashing things out, I slowly began to reconnect, ‘falling in like again’ with him. He imparted a lot of wisdom simply by sitting down and opening up to me. I cherished those conversations, and I could listen to him for hours, always learning something new. I appreciated this side of him that prioritized my mental health. One piece of advice I’ll never forget is, ‘If you’re worrying about anything beyond what you’ll eat the next day, you’re too busy.’
