🧑 FOOD 🧑

Trying to be a little more generous towards myself by preparing warm, delicious, healthy, and budget-friendly comfort food to soothe my soulπŸ‘§πŸΎ and nourish my body.

Two-course homemade meal:

My ultimate goal is to regularly prepare a 2- or 3-course meal, starting with a maximum of three ingredients, herbs excluded, to keep this journey as simple and budget-friendly as possible, for myself. Then, I aim to expand it to a 5-course meal, and if I am completely satisfied and very enthusiastic about it, perhaps even for a special friend.

Veggie quiche

I first tried this veggieπŸ₯• quiche/pie without spices to taste the base. Then I experimented bite by bite with some dried herbs. For example, one bite I tried with salt, another bite with cayenne pepper. After trying a few combinations, I noticed one I liked. I then sprinkled those herbs over the surface.

Fruit bites

Maybe I’ll put only fruit🍎 slices in the oven without spices to taste them first, next time. Today I coated both sides of the slices with cinnamon before I put them in the oven. The consistency tastes like soft candy, and it kind of tastes like apple pie. Apple pie candy.
