* Living far apart makes it harder to just walk by and hash things out. Sometimes distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder and just feels like rejection. When the truth is that I pray for them everyday and sometimes really miss them. That’s why I miss my hometown Hoorn as well, but I am starting to love my life in The Hague too. Both worlds don’t seem to mix, so maybe I shouldn’t try to mix them. But learn to appreciate both places as they are. A lot a my family lives far away too, most even in other places, like CuraΓ§ao, Bonaire, America. I could continue with creating a home, more stability in The Hague and create time and money to connect with other places as they are.
