I have let go of many cold emotions and allowed warm ones in. Partly because of this, I feel less comfortable in clothing that reflects less warmth. Now I mainly wear black, white, and grey. I asked for help on how best to gradually embrace more colors while still staying close to my current uniform. I was advised to start with accessories or basic items like a shirt. My ‘uniform-outfit’ now consists of a loose-fitting shirt that falls just over my butt, leggings, wedges with laces, ankle socks that peek out a bit, a bag, ear studs, and on colder moments, a thick sweater, and an A-line, ribbed trench coat-like jacket. I dream of a pastel-colored wardrobe. The most neutral pastel color I find is blue. My favorite color is pink. I may feel cheerful with the color yellow. MmmmπŸ€”.
