My Movie Experience (2/2)

The beginning and the end both left me feeling confused. I’ll elaborate on the middle part of the movie:

The chase.. passionate. After she fell in love though, I felt bored. From the moment he saved her, things turned stale. I did not feel their love as much as I did their passion. I felt disappointed at that point. He only expressed his love with gifts and physical touch. O yeah and that one time he told her: “I love you.” I don’t doubt his sincerity, but they didn’t connect on a deep and intense level for me to feel it.

Noticed how I skipped the fact that he KIDNAPPED her.

Stockholm syndrome.. Cognitive dissonance..
