Individual sport

Unlimited pole dancing (combining individual sport and sensuality) if I had an abundance of money. But with the skills I’ve developed, I can afford one class per month. Possibly with a stage pole (which I may save up for) at home in my new house, preferably.

I intend to keep the sensuality and being individually competitive separate as much as possible. Because the sensual is also very playful, and turning something into a competition might initially bring me pleasure, but without long-term satisfaction. So I’m still considering an individual sport, aside from pole dancing, twerk, chairdance class during my high-energy weekend to give more space to my sensual side. Ballet or ballet-related lessons are to be more in touch with my elegant and receptive, adaptable (physically and mentally) side, and I also want to keep the focus on this intention over competition. If I had an abundance of money I would invest more in ballet as well. I’m still open to ideas that might come to mind.

πŸ’‘ athletics?: short sprints

With the added volume on my chest, the extensions in my hair, my age, and without any training, I find a full marathon a challenge. Not that a sprint is necessarily easier, but it might be more achievable. That’s what I really wantβ€”to run a marathon, finish, and win! That’s where I feel the most competitive, and I think it fits my current outlook on life: pushing through, persevering, encouraging myself to reach the finish line. This is the most realistic goal now, to just try and learn, step by step:). That’s the pointβ€”to take up space whether I win or learn. I wouldn’t mind receiving external validation for this.

Team sport

Volleyball.

Preferably beach volleyball. Maybe I can develop a pleasant confirmation loop in a mixed group too, because we strive together to win. Besides that, as someone who still finds commitment challenging, joining a club is a big step with training, tasks around the sessions, possibly board membership, and matches, event. When do I sleep and eat? So I need to think about that a bit more. Also, I’m mindful of costs or whether there are arrangements for minimum incomes so I can assess if I could do this in lean circumstances.

As for pole dancing, it’s a go. My energy is highest on weekends right after my period, so essentially the weekend of the spicy date. Ending the week with a spicy solo date and then hanging out on the pole a day or two later πŸ™‚
