The main course. The skin of the poultry melted on my tongue, so savory and yet also sweet. Succulent. And then the puree, wow, I think it was sweet potato, and with the yellow potato, I wondered how it was prepared (briefly baked or boiled or both?). Served in very thin slices like this, that’s new to me! And the fries were crispy, nicely salted, delicious dipped in the sauce, mayo. And then the dessert, warm and cold. Crunchy, soft, and flowing. Full sweet to fruity sweet. A beautiful balance.I had a dessert wine, and in general, almost everything I chose was sweet because I have a big sweet tooth 🦷:). What an ultimate experience to be able to taste and discover how they prepare a dish, but I found it impolite to ask for a recipe. So when I got home, I invested in a French cookbook, because this left me wanting more. I’m curious to see how I can enhance my home dishes with everything I discovered today and will discover from the cookbooks. My next spicy solo date (number 3 that I mentioned yesterday) has nothing to do with food, but with this experience and the recipes on the way, I’ll be content for a while :). Promptly served by kind people. Magnifique πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ
