What habit do I want to carry into 2024?

I want to continue my habit of a grieving ritual, which helps me stay calm by expressing emotions. Cooking, once more anxiety-inducing, became more enjoyable as I processed emotions related to my mother. This ritual, done on specific days, allows me to navigate present challenges or relive past events peacefully.

Anticipating, preparing, creating a little party on my plate and enjoying the present brings me calm. Balancing this joy with meeting a potential special friend’s needs is crucial; I need to maintain my enjoyment without feeling obligated to cook.

Avoiding toys during intimate moments provides stability to prevent extreme peaks and deep lows. Instead, I need to discover ways to fulfill my need for play in and outside the bedroom. Balancing extreme peaks and deep lows experienced with a special friend and responsibilities is crucial too; I need this balance, this stability, for my healthy adult mode to keep functioning.

Communicating with strangers, acquaintances, and (distant) contacts like the ones I pray for, through warm written words and homemade food.

Celebrating holidays in a small, cozy yet joyful way. Where there is space for both laughter and tears.

Trying merengue dancing to uplift my mood.
